AI Disclaimer
Curio renders presentation videos and stills using artificial intelligence. The following clarifies what AI outputs are — and very importantly, what they are not — so collectors, buyers, sellers, insurers and platforms understand how to interpret them.
Curio is not, and does not provide, any of the following:
- Authentication of authenticity, origin, era or maker.
- Grading, condition reporting or condition certification.
- Appraisal, valuation or estimation of fair market value.
- Insurance documentation or proof of insurable interest.
- Provenance, ownership-history or chain-of-custody verification.
- Legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice.
AI outputs from Curio must not be cited as if they were any of the above, in commerce, in court, in insurance claims, in customs declarations, or to any platform that requires authentication or appraisal.
- Colour reproduction may shift between the source photograph and the rendered reel.
- Surface texture, sheen and patina may be smoothed, exaggerated or invented for cinematic effect.
- Edges and contours may be softened or geometrically reinterpreted; small flaws visible in source photographs may be hidden, smoothed, or — equally — exaggerated.
- Lower-third captions, dates, edition numbers and narration are generated from the inputs you provide. They are not verified by us.
- We may use stylised lighting and depth-of-field that misrepresents the true appearance of the item under daylight inspection.
You may attach Curio reels to listings, marketplace posts or buyer communications. When you do, you are responsible for accurately describing the actual condition, year, edition and any flaws of your item — independently of how the reel renders. If a buyer disputes a sale because the reel "looks better than the item", that is a representation issue between you and the buyer; Curio accepts no liability for it.
If a seller sends you a Curio reel, treat it as a presentation video, not a condition report. Insist on raw photographs, in-person inspection, third-party authentication or grading where the value warrants it. The presence of a polished reel does not imply that the item has been authenticated or appraised by us.
Do not submit reels, archive cards or any AI-rendered content to insurers, customs authorities, tax authorities, courts or law enforcement as evidence of value, condition or authenticity. They are not such evidence.
We use third-party AI rendering providers under contracts that prohibit them from training on your inputs or outputs. Inputs are processed solely to fulfil your render request. We do not use your photographs or reels to train, fine-tune or evaluate models. See Privacy Policy for retention windows.
AI outputs are best-effort approximations. We will re-render at no credit cost where outputs are clearly defective due to our error; minor stylistic variation that falls within normal AI range is not a defect. See Refund Policy for credit refund rules.
For genuine authentication or appraisal, please consult a licensed authenticator, certified grader, accredited valuer, qualified auction house specialist, or professional insurance assessor in your jurisdiction. We are happy to point users to category-specific resources at support@imaginproducts.com, but we will not act in that role ourselves.
