Acceptable Use Policy
Curio exists to celebrate collectibles, not to power deception. This policy lists the activities that are prohibited on the service. Violations result in immediate suspension, forfeiture of unused subscription credits, retention of dispute evidence and, where relevant, referral to law enforcement, Stripe and rights-holders. The list is illustrative and not exhaustive.
- Do not generate or render content that imitates a registered trademark, brand logotype or trade dress of a third party in a way likely to confuse a reasonable buyer.
- Do not present items you know or suspect to be counterfeit, replica or unauthorised reproduction as authentic. Knowingly listing counterfeit goods is a violation of Stripe's Restricted Businesses policy and ours.
- Do not generate "fictional" collectibles styled as if they were real limited-edition releases of an existing brand.
- Do not upload third-party photographs of collectibles you do not own or have not been authorised to display. We honour DMCA / EU CDSM Article 17 takedowns.
- Do not use rendered reels to deceive buyers about an item's condition, year, edition or completeness.
- Do not selectively render to hide a known defect, missing component or restoration work that you would be required to disclose under marketplace, auction-house or jurisdictional rules.
- Do not present AI renders as if they were unedited photographs from your shelf.
- Do not chain reels or archive cards to fake provenance documentation or fabricated grading slabs.
- Do not represent that Curio or its renders authenticate, grade or appraise items. We do not. See AI Disclaimer.
- Do not generate fake "certificates of authenticity", "grading reports", "appraisal letters", or any document type associated with licensed authenticators.
- Do not imitate the slab visuals, holograms, watermarks or seals of named grading or authentication services (PSA, BGS, CGC, JSA, PWCC, Sotheby's, Christie's, etc.).
- No sexually explicit, sexual-violence or non-consensual content.
- No content sexualising or exploiting minors. Reports go to NCMEC and equivalents.
- No graphic real-world violence, gore, or self-harm content.
- No items that are illegal to own, trade or display in the user's jurisdiction — e.g. CITES-protected wildlife products, controlled cultural heritage objects, Nazi memorabilia in jurisdictions where prohibited, restricted firearms components.
- No drug paraphernalia or controlled-substance products in commerce-facing renders.
- No content that promotes terrorism, ethnic or religious hatred, or violent extremism.
- Do not upload images that contain identifiable people without their consent.
- Do not include personal data (addresses, phone numbers, government IDs) in prompts or renders.
- Do not use the service to harass, dox or stalk anyone.
- No scraping, automated bulk uploads designed to evade rate limits, or distributed account fan-out.
- No reverse engineering, decompilation, white-labelling or resale of the service.
- No probing, vulnerability testing or load testing without prior written authorisation.
- No abuse of free-tier credits via disposable email or VOIP-only signup patterns.
- No payment fraud or chargeback abuse (asserting "service not provided" while downloading and using rendered reels).
You may not use Curio in jurisdictions subject to UK / EU / US trade sanctions, or while you are designated on UK / EU / US sanctions lists. We may block access from sanctioned regions.
- First instance, low severity — written warning and account flag.
- Repeated or moderate severity — temporary suspension, forfeiture of unused subscription credits.
- Severe (counterfeit listing, fraud, child safety) — immediate permanent ban, preservation of evidence, report to Stripe, rights-holders, and law enforcement where applicable. No refund.
- Appeals can be sent to support@imaginproducts.com with the subject line "Appeal — [account email]".
If you believe a Curio reel is being used to deceive buyers or to infringe your rights as a brand-holder, please send takedown notices and abuse reports to support@imaginproducts.com with relevant URLs and proof of rights. We respond within one business day.
